I'm hovering still between 73 and 74 kilos, but I'm pleased I didn't put on any weight either on the cruise or over Christmas :D
I'm still trying to reach my target of 68 so keep pushing me please!!! *begs* But I've lost another couple of centimeters which is making me happy! *dance*
Anyway on to the measurements - not everything has changed but my bust and waist have and they're very important!

Bust: 122cm, 114cm, 108cm, 105cm

Yes - that's right I'm at 75 kilos!! *dances* I didn't think I would be. First I had the conference where, no matter how hard you try, you eat the wrong things. Then I had my eyes done and couldn't exercise much. I still can't swim or play soccer - but soon! Then just when I can go back to gym - there's none this week!!! So I was surprised to find that I'd lost that little bit...
In total it's 13 kilos (28.6lbs)!!! Woot. I'm aiming for more though. I'd like to make it down to 70 or best still 68 kilos.(I really can't remember ever being 68 kilos!) Then I'll have lost 20 all together! Cross your fingers for me - it's about 7 weeks till I leave for the US and the cruise... Current Mood: chipper

I'm hovering between 76 and 77 kilos today! *happy smile* I was a naughty girl and had hot chips for lunch and it's the 2nd time this week :(
But I've gone to gym and soccer and am now off to (probably) ref at the little guy's soccer game - so hopefully it will balance out!
How are you guys all going?? I'd love to know....

Knock, knock? *peers around*
I lost another kilo!!! Woot!
That brings me under the 80 kilo mark and I'm stoked :D 1 more kilo and I'll have lost 10!
Aquarobics is currently cancelled due to cold weather and I have just started circuit class. The sight of me trying to remember how many punches and kicks I've done during the kick-boxing section, is scary indeed! But I'm managing it and that's the main thing.
Soccer starts mid August so I'll have that as well and I'm still using my machine, but not efficiently enough.
How's everyone else going? Current Mood: bouncy

very late report!!
OMG it's almost a month since my last post! Where's the time gone?
Anyway I'm down to 81kilos!!! *dances around madly* I'm so pleased. Especially since this last 2 weeks has been so hectic workwise, I've missed a couple of aquarobics classes. And now with the onset of winter weather - they've been cancelled! I'll have to look for something else that fits into my small window of time for exercise...
Since the guy who mows my grass has left, I've bought myself an old-fashioned push mower and when it finally stops raining can do good exercise with that. Soccer starts in a month too, but I need more!!
But I'm stoked with the loss so far. Now comes the hard part I guess. I want to get to 75 kilos at least. Keep nudging me please!! Current Mood: pleased

late weekly report!!
Well this last couple of weeks has flown by. I'm sooo busy at work and home *pant pant*.
I've lost another kilo bringing me down to 83 kilos!! *does the happy dance* I'm on my second week of 2 aquarobics classes a week, but haven't made it to the gym yet. I'm still walking on my machine a couple of times a week, but really need to make this a bit more regular I think. Tomorrow (shopping day), I vow to buy a tape measure! LOL So next week you will be bored by my measurement changes or lack thereof!!
How's everyone else doing? I'd love to know :) Current Mood: bouncy

Weekly report and recipe
I'm still at 84 kilos this week, and of course still have no measurements. But today I fitted into a pair of trousers that, up till now, were agony to do up. Not only did they do up, they actually felt comfortable and didn't bite into my stomach at all :)
I managed to keep to my exercise schedule and next week am planning more. Hopefully I'll do two aquarobics sessions a week and a gym class plus walking on my machine.
Tonight we had home-made burgers for dinner. They're a favourite with the little guy and my way of making him eat salad when he doesn't like it!
Home-made burger recipe
Cereal or Wholemeal rolls
Chicken patties or grilled chicken breasts
any other salad stuff
Bacon (cooked in the microwave so no oil is needed)
5 minutes preparation, 5 minutes (if that) cooking
I often substitute the rolls with some sort of wraps, corn for preference. I cunningly call these subs, ensuring the child that they're fashionable. Current Mood: accomplished

I've lost 4 kilograms in total!!!
Today I weighed myself and I'm at 84 Kilos! Under 85. I don't know how long it is since I've weighed under 85 kilos.
Thank you my friends for all your encouragement. It's because of you I've got this far :)
I'm still exercising and today went to my second aquarobics class. I'm so uncoordinated *giggles*, it's very scary. I'm planning, once I go back to work, on two aquarobics classes a week plus my other ad hoc exercising.
My next real goal is to get down to 80 kilograms and from there - the skys the limit! Or at least 75 kilos :)
your fic is coming - I promise. Current Mood: happy
Friday, April 20th, 2007
I'm still the same weight this week *mutters*, but am certainly feeling healthier.
However I did much better with the exercising this week. I walked on my machine two nights, and exercised to the lamest exercise video on earth two nights (the Hot pants workout would you believe?), and played soccer with the little guy three afternoons!! So I'm calling prehistoric_sea
on her offer *giggles*.
Now how come I'm the only person posting here? Hmmmmmm? How are you people doing out there? I'm dying to know... Current Mood: pleased

A little progress
I haven't done quite as well this week, losing only half a kilo. But still that's something! :0
I managed to avoid eating Hot Cross Buns, but fell down and had a couple of 'fat' meals this last week.
The exercise bit is where I'm really failing. So nag me people!! Pleeeeeeeease! Current Mood: crazy

Weight challenge update
I've lost another kilogram! *does the dieter's dance* No measurements though because I keep forgetting to buy a measuring tape.
I managed to stick to my goal and eat only the two slices of toast a day. I've also changed from white bread to multi-grain. That was hard - I love white bread! I had a fall from grace on Friday when we had store-bought pizza and garlic bread for dinner.
The exercising went a little better this week, with me actually walking on my machine twice. This needs to increase I think. As does the amount of time I spend walking on it...
I really need to exercise more so this week am going to try to set up a regular swimming day and stick to it!!!
Another recipe I like - I make these for Sunday dinner and take the remainder to work for lunch.
A few small potatoes, Coliban for choice (I cook 12 at a time, but you can do more or less.
boil with their skin on till just soft
place in baking pan and squash each one lightly with the palm of your hand. Don't make them flat or anything. Just squash till the skin breaks
pour minimal amount of olive oil over potatoes
sprinkle rosemary and garlic over potatoes
place in oven and cook at 180 degrees celcius for 20-25 minutes
yummmmmmm Current Mood: pleased
Saturday, March 24th, 2007
I lost 1 kilo! I know it's not much but it's a start! Especially since I had a couple of bad days!
But I have managed to stick to the only one hot chips day and also only 2 slices of toast for breakfast for most of the week.
The exercising bit is a not so good. I did walk on my machine a couple of days - but it's not enough. so my major goal this week is to walk on the machine at least 4 times this week!
No measurements however since the little guy has again purloined my tape measure! He has a fatal attraction to them! lol
Thursday, March 22nd, 2007
- did not exercise enough
- did drink more water but not enough
- out of six days, I followed my diet on three *hides*
So just imagine how well it's going to go when I finally get my ass in gear! Current Mood: accomplished

Just like bookaddict43
I haven't lost any weight this first week.
I did lose one waist centimeter but that can be a coincidence or just me pulling the tape measure a bit tighter.
Also, I'm not surprised that I didn't lose any weight because I was house-sitting for my parents and my Mom had stacked the fridge to the brim with things I love to eat. She doesn't really understand the whole losing weight thing.
So this week I:
Ate healthy and according to my diet: not really
Exercised enough: not really
Drank enough water: nope
I really should do better if I want this to work. I blame my Mom for this week, but next week I only have myself to blame!
Thursday, March 15th, 2007
My first week in and the stats haven't changed. But I met my goal about the hot chips and only bought them once last week! *bounces*
I did some exercise, but not enough. I have to be more organised about this I think. So this week I'm trying 3x30 minutes on my walking machine, as well as the soccer games with the little guy.
This week I'm planning to cut down on the 4 slices of toast for breakfast, to two slices and a piece of fruit.
Wish me luck!! :)
Also here's a nice pizza recipe -:
One store-bought base - very thin wholemeal.
Cover base with hommus
Then slice very thinly two or three desiree potatoes on top
Sprinkle with sea salt, rosemary and olive oil
Cook in the oven at 180 celcius for 14 minutes Current Mood: hopeful
Saturday, March 10th, 2007
Here's some more measurements since I finally got a tape measure.
Upper arm 32.5cm
Upper leg 58cm
This week I've managed to walk on my machine only once, but have played soccer with the little guy three afternoons this week. So hopefully it evens out... Current Mood: curious
Thursday, March 8th, 2007
Yeah, so we're doing this thing :-)
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 99,5 kilos (I know, it sounds bad, but it's less horrible when you know that when I weigh 80 kilos, I'm actually skinny. Strange but true.)
Target weight: 80 kilos
I took a whole bunch of them and I shall state them here for your enjoyment:
Lower leg: 43
Upper leg: 61
(Don't look at me like that! I spent my formative years riding horses!)
Upper arm: 33
I haven't really started the actual diet yet, but this week I:
Drank enough water: yep
Exercised enough: nope
Ate healthy and low-fat: kinda Current Mood: determined
